What’s AFTER sports?
Has anyone ever asked you that question?

What about when you can’t play sport anymore, does that even exist, a world without sports?  As athletes we live, breathe and dream about sports…  how does God fit into this, can He be there when I wake up at 6am and train to win?  Can He exist in a world of sports?

I believe He can.  Nothing in life is worth living unless God is involved.  Winning the gold medal at the Olympics is nothing compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing the Father.  On the Sports DTS we will take our love for God into our life of sports.  Come join us as we learn how to love God and love sports.

In a world that adores sports we will bring the love of Christ into our attitudes, thoughts and actions.  We will take on the character of Jesus and display this on the playing field.

Through competing together, through common interests and shared passions for sport we can be given permission to share the life and truth of Christ to the lost in almost any nation of the world.

Mention cricket in India or Australia, Soccer to a Brazilian or Norwegian.  Talk about Hockey to a Canadian, or Rugby in New Zealand - Sports is BIG!

Whether rich or poor, young or old, black or white, male or female, upper class or lower class, Muslim or Hindu.  No matter what our global differences, our prejudices, disagreements and disappointments we can all find a place of agreement in matters of sports with people from the opposite ends of the earth.  It is a key for connecting with people for beginning conversation and a doorway to new relationships.
