The School of Digital Filmmaking Australia, is an intensive, three month course designed to train and equip filmmakers. Training is given in multiple areas of the filmmaking process such as directing, producing, screen writing, non linear editing, digital effects and stunt work. Training is accomplished by lectures given by working professionals in the film industry. Every week there are multiple opportunities for practical application of the week’s topic. Over the course of the school, students will break up into director/producer teams and produce a short film as well as crew other short film projects. This is to emphasize the importance of effective team work under challenging situations. Teams will also be formed and crews assembled for the final project. Team work is one of the most vital roles needed in the film industry today.

Another objective of the course is to emphasize integrity and character development. This coupled with prayer on behalf of the film industry, are as relevant and necessary as the creative process. The School of Digital Filmmaking will give filmmakers the tools and foundations needed to pursue a career in this digital medium.
