Worldview: Everyone has one!

Whether or not we realize it, we all have certain presuppositions and biases that affect the way we view life and reality. A worldview is like a set of lenses which taint our vision or alter the way we perceive the world around us. Our worldview is formed by our education, our upbringing, the culture we live in, the books we read, the media and movies we absorb, etc. For many people their worldview is simply something they have absorbed from their surrounding cultural influences. They have never thought strategically about what they believe and wouldn't be able to give a rational defence of their beliefs to others.

Romans 12:2  "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is- his good, pleasing and perfect will."

In the School of biblical worldview (SBCW) we want to question our perspective and come to terms with the biblical understanding of reality. On the basis of this, we want to train Christians to be able to take responsibility in all areas of society and life (Family, Business, Media, Politics, Sports, etc.).

Would you like the challenge of thinking through your basic assumptions and their consequences more carefully? Would you like to know how our world has been molded or changed by the basic assumptions of others? Allow yourself to be motivated in SBCW to let God transform your thinking and with that to bring change to the world.
